A 'perfect' gold bar is a gold bar that is smelted from a 'perfect' gold ore. It is used in the Family Crest quest. It is nontradeable and can no longer be smelted into any jewellery like a regular Gold bar. With a ruby, it can be smelted into a 'perfect' ring and a 'perfect' necklace, nontradeable versions used only in the Family Crest quest. It functions as a normal gold bar when crafted into any other item of jewellery, but will not receive the prefix of 'perfect', hence becoming a normal item when crafted with anything other than a ruby.

- The P in 'perfect' gold bar is not capitalised because all items in RuneScape use ucfirst capitalisation, wherein the first letter of a string is capitalised, but the rest is not.
