An apple sapling is an apple seedling that has sprouted and is ready to be planted in a fruit tree patch. Players must be at least level 27 in Farming to plant an apple sapling. Like other saplings, players may use temporary skill boosts to plant the sapling.
Planting the sapling in a fruit tree patch will result in the chance of growing an apple tree in it, if it does not die from disease (Farming). A farmer will make sure an apple sapling grows into an apple tree for a payment of 9 raw sweetcorn.
