Arcane prayer scrolls are a possible reward from the Chambers of Xeric. Reading it allows the player to unlock the prayer Augury.

When the player reads the scroll, the chatbox message states You can make out some faded words on the ancient parchment. It appears to be an archaic invocation of the gods! Would you like to absorb its power? (Warning: This will consume the scroll.)

Trivia[]
- Upon release of the Chambers of Xeric, the prayer was unlocked via a single scroll which offered to unlock one of the three prayers: Preserve, Rigour, and Augury. The scroll was split in an update on 26 January 2017 so that the cost to unlock the Augury prayer would not be tied to the much higher cost to unlock Rigour.
