Armadyl chainskirt

Not to be confused with Armadyl plateskirt.

The Armadyl chainskirt is an item that can be obtained from Kree'arra and his bodyguards in the God Wars Dungeon. Along with the Armadyl helmet and chestplate, it is part of the Armadyl armour set, and requires 70 Defence and Ranged to wear.

The chainskirt is lighter in weight and statistically superior to every other leg ranged armour. However, it is also the only ranged armour which penalises melee attack bonuses.

Trivia[]

Upon release, the Armadyl chainskirt was known as the Armadyl plateskirt. This was changed with the clue scroll update on 12 June 2014 which added the Armadyl god-trimmed rune plateskirt as a clue scroll reward.
Upon the release of God Wars Dungeon, the Armadyl chainskirt was given its original 2007 appearance, which showed some of the lower thigh area on male players. However, the model was changed to show less skin on males in an update on 26 January 2017 after passing the Old School Content Poll #50: Models, Anims and More poll.
