Armadyl chainskirt

Not to be confused with Armadyl plateskirt.

The Armadyl chainskirt is part of the Armadyl armour set, which requires 70 Defence and 70 Ranged to equip. It is a potential drop from Kree'arra and his bodyguards.

The chainskirt is lighter in weight and statistically superior to every other leg ranged armour. However, it is also the only ranged armour which penalises melee attack bonuses.

Trivia

Before the release of the 2014 Treasure Trail Expansion update it was called a 'plateskirt', but has been since renamed to 'chainskirt' to avoid confusion with the Armadyl god-trimmed rune plateskirt.
Upon the release of God Wars Dungeon, the Armadyl Chainskirt was given its original 2007 appearance, which showed some of the lower thigh area on male players. However, this changed in an update on 26 January 2017 due to majority vote from Old School Content Poll #50 in which it was changed to show less skin on male characters.
