An Armadylian guard can appear while completing the Coordinates portion of an Elite clue. They have the form of an Aviansie which can be found in the God Wars Dungeon. It is important that players use the Protect from Missiles prayer as Armadylian guards use ranged attacks. Players must also use Ranged or Magic as Melee attacks do not reach the Armadyl guard's elevation. Upon killing the monster dig again in the correct location in order to receive the next clue.
