The Black chainbody is better defence than Steel chainbody, and can be worn by a player with 10 Defence. Players can purchase this item at the Falador and Ardougne Chainmail shops. This item cannot be made using the smithing skill, and has roughly the same bonuses as a white chainbody. As with all black equipment, this piece of armour cannot be made using the Smithing skill.
