A loaf of bread is obtained by using a bucket of water or a jug of water on a pot of flour, and using the resulting bread dough on a cooking range. Doing so requires a Cooking level of 1 and gains 40.5 experience. Bread heals 5 hitpoints. It is used in the Death Plateau, Merlin's Crystal, Olaf's Quest and Recipe for Disaster quests.
Players can also buy (or steal) bread from the Ardougne Baker's Stall in the Ardougne marketplace.
