The bronze dagger is a dagger made out of Bronze. It is the most basic dagger in Old School Runescape, with the iron dagger surpassing it. Players are able to make a bronze dagger using the Smithing skill. This requires one bronze bar and a hammer and yields 12.5 Smithing experience. There are no level requirements to create or wield a bronze dagger.
It is the second-weakest dagger in the game. It outperforms the Dark/Glowing dagger, an artefact obtained during Legends' Quest, which has marginally superior accuracy bonuses but no strength bonus at all.
It is the first weapon that players obtain, during the Smithing tutorial on Tutorial Island. Despite becoming seemingly obsolete as the player is given a bronze sword in the next section of the tutorial, the bronze dagger does have some usefulness during the Magic Instructor's task given its small magic attack bonus.
A bronze dagger can be found on top of some drawers in the spinning wheel room in Lumbridge Castle. They can also be bought from various weapon stores.
