Bronze platebody is a temporary item found only in tournament worlds. The contents of this page refer to an item only available on temporary tournament worlds as a means to test the item before release.

A Bronze platebody is the second weakest platebody in the game (the weakest being the Khazard platebody) and the weakest in free-to-play. It has no requirement to equip and provides a greater Defence bonus than a bronze chainbody. Like all platebodies, however, it gives a crippling negative bonus to the user's Ranged and Magic stats. It is suggested that players training either Magic or Ranged to use robes, chainbody, ranged armour, or even no armour at all.

How to obtain
There are several ways to acquire bronze platebodies:
- Smith them from 5 bronze bars. This requires level 18 Smithing and grants 62.5 experience.
- Buy them from Horvik's Armour Shop or Zenesha's Plate Mail Body Shop.
- Kill various NPC's that drop them.
- Buy them from other players
- The Grand Exchange (although it is not often sold by players on the G.E. due to the fact that it does not provide much Defence).
Store locations
This platebody can also be bought or sold at:
- Horvik's Armour Shop in central Varrock.
- Zenesha's Platebody Shop in East Ardougne
