A bronze platebody is the weakest of all platebodies. It has no requirement to equip and provides a greater Defence bonus than a bronze chainbody. Like all platebodies, however, it gives a crippling negative bonus to the user's Range and Magic stats. It is recommended that players training either of those skills instead use robes or even no armour at all.
Where to get
There are several ways to acquire bronze platebodies:
- Players can smith them from 5 bronze bars if they have at least level 18 Smithing. Doing so will yield 62.5 smithing experience.
- They can be bought from Horvik's Armour Shop or Zenesha's Plate Mail Body Shop
- They are sometimes dropped by skeletons
