Buttons can be thieved from H.A.M members in the HAM hideout behind Lumbridge general store. You will need at least 15 Thieving to be able to thieve female HAM members and 20 Thieving for male HAM members. They require level 3 Crafting to polish, yielding 5 Crafting experience, and results in the message: "You rub the buttons on your clothes and they become more shiny." This changes them into polished buttons, which are used in Animal Magnetism. They can also be dropped by H.A.M Guards levels 12, 18, and 22.
