Cave crawlers are Slayer monsters that require level 10 Slayer to kill. They can cause poison so it is advised that players use antipoison potions when fighting them. They drop a variety of Herblore related items.

Players with very low Defence should use Magic or Ranged to attack these monsters in order to avoid being poisoned and taking damage by safespotting them using the rocks around the room's walls in Fremennik Slayer Dungeon. When fighting cave crawlers in the Lumbridge Swamp Caves, be careful if using a candle as it may explode and cause damage if you get too close to the gas vents.
