Cave eel

Cave eels are a type of food made from a raw cave eel that require a Cooking level of 38 to be cooked. Players stop burning raw cave eels at level 42 Cooking. They can be caught using a fishing rod and fishing bait. When eaten, a cave eel will restore 8 to 12 hitpoints.

They are used in several quests that require the gathering of objects. Raw cave eel are used in the Creature Creation minigame to make a frogeel.
