Cured yak-hides are obtained by taking a yak-hide to Thakkrad Sigmundson on Neitiznot and paying him 5 coins to cure it. Cured yak-hides can be made into yak-hide legs and yak-hide bodies with the help of a needle and thread. Yak-hide legs require one cured yak-hide and 43 crafting. Yak-hide bodies require two cured yak-hides and 46 crafting. Each will gain you 32 crafting experience (somewhat unusual, since the body therefore only yields half as much experience per hide).
