Dark wizards are mages who worship Zamorak and cast Strike spells.
Dark wizards play a vital role in the Demon Slayer quest as they perform a ritual to summon the demon Delrith.
Location
Dark Wizards are found in several different locations:
- Dark Wizards' Tower (lvl 23)
- Behind Draynor Village bank (level 7)
- Level 6 and 7 Wilderness
- Varrock stone circle by the south gate (levels 7 & 20)
- North of Land's End in Great Kourend
Strategy
Dark wizards will attack with a variety of magic attacks, varying depending on the level of the Dark Wizard being fought.
The Level 7 variant will attack with Water Strike, and Confuse spells. Working effectively against warriors in metal armour.
The Level 20 variant will attack with Earth Strike and Weaken spells. Again working well against warriors in metal armour.
A good way to defeat these mages is to attack using Ranged, wearing leather or dragonhide armour.
