The spell enchants 10 diamond bolts per cast and uses 2 Law runes, 1 Cosmic rune, and 10 Earth runes. Players must have a minimum Ranged level of 70 to be able to use them.

Enchanted diamond bolts have an Armour piercing enchantment. On hits when the enchantment activates, the bolts will negate a sizable portion of their target's defence bonuses against Ranged, meaning attacks will almost always hit. This is similar to Verac's set effect, except it does not negate prayer. Activation also raises the player's max hit by 15%. A crystalline, tinkling sound can be heard when the enchantment triggers.

Like all ammunition, diamond bolts (e) have no visible strength bonus, and their damage is not boosted by any items which have a strength bonus. The strength bonus entered here is from 2009, when the ranged strength stat was made visible.
