The dragon 2h sword is one of the strongest two-handed swords in RuneScape, requiring level 60 Attack to wield. Unlike most other dragon weapons, the dragon 2h sword requires no quest to wield. It is a rare drop from five high level boss monsters: the Chaos Elemental (found in Deep Wilderness), the Kalphite Queen, Venenatis, Callisto, and Vet'ion.
The dragon 2h has a special attack, which drains 60% of the special attack bar. In a multi-combat area, all targets within 1 square of the player, including the one they are standing on, will be damaged. No more than 14 enemies can be hit at a time with this attack. There are no advantages when using this attack in a single-combat area. The attack is especially effective when training at multi-combat areas such as Bandits and Skeleton Monkeys, since it hits multiple targets at the same time, boosting the experience gained per hour. It also proves useful when playing Pest Control, where multiple Spinners may be found on a single space. A great place to use this weapon is during Nightmare zone in conjunction with the "Power Surge" power-up that gives the player temporary infinite special attacks, whilst many enemies are surrounding you as well.The dragon 2h has the same crush attack bonus as a godsword and obsidian maul,therefore it can be used as an effective crush weapon.
