Old School RuneScape uses the British convention for floor numbering: Ground floor, first floor, etc.

Dragon Inn sign

The Dragon Inn is the only bar in Yanille. It is located in the south-west of the city, between the hunter store and a small lake. The bar is one of the two places in RuneScape where you can buy dragon bitter and one of three places you can buy a Greenman's ale. The sign out the front of the inn is a picture of a red dragon head from front on. The name of the inn probably comes from the two stuffed dragon heads mounted about the counter of the bar.

The ground floor[?] of the inn is the bar. The bar is furnished with a table and chairs and four barstools around the bar. The bar has barpumps, though the bartender never uses them. There is stairs to the 1st floor[?] in the south-west corner of the room. The 1st floor[?] of the inn contains two room for people staying in the inn. Each room contains a bed and a bedside table, with the north room also containing a hat stand.

There are two NPCs located inside the inn, the bartender and the Guard Captain. Both play roles in quests. They are both located on the ground floor[?].

The captain of the guards holds a beer in his hand and is constantly drunk, making him stagger around the room and slur his words. During The Hand in the Sand, Bert sends you to him to investigate why he found a hand in the sandpit. He turns out to be more harm than good, dropping the hand in his beer.

The bartender of the Dragon Inn plays a role in Zogre Flesh Eaters where the players must show him the dragon inn tankard to learn that it belonged to Brentle Vahn. The tankard originated from the Dragon Inn, being inscribed with 'Ye Olde Dragon Inn'. The tankard was owned by Brentle, implying that he was a regular customer there. The Bartender also knows lots of gossip about people, being able to give you information about the whereabouts of Brentle before he disappeared. Further on in the quest the bartender has to sign a portrait you have drawn of Sithik Ints to prove that that is what he looks like.
