Dragon boots are boots made of dragon metal. Like most other dragon items they cannot be made using the Smithing skill. They were released along with the God Wars Dungeon on October 17 2007.

Dragon boots have a Strength bonus twice that of Rune boots. The only boots that have higher bonuses are Bandos boots, which have a prayer bonus of 1, and 1 higher stab, crush, and slash defence bonuses, but no strength bonus. Due to this fact, dragon boots are commonly used by players who wish to increase their damage. Thus, they are popular with those training the Slayer skill and player killing.

The boots require a Defence level of 60 to wear and can be obtained as a drop from Spiritual Mages (found in the God Wars Dungeon), which require a Slayer level of 83 to kill.
