The dragon dagger (sometimes referred to as DD or DDS/DDP++ in its super-poisoned form) is the second strongest dagger in RuneScape and can be wielded by players with at least 60 Attack, after completion of the Lost City quest. The dagger is popular due to its cheap price and its potentially devastating special attack.
The dragon dagger can be purchased from Jukat in the Zanaris marketplace for 30,000 coins, or from Rasolo the Wandering Merchant near the Baxtorian Falls for 60,000 coins. Urbi also sells them in her shop in Sophanem, although they will never be in stock unless a player sells some to her first.
Special attack
The dragon dagger's special attack, Puncture, deals two hits at once with an extra 25% accuracy and 15% max hit for each of the two hits, using up 25% of the special attack bar.
When used against other players, both hits are applied simultaneously. There is a slight delay between the two hits when the special is used on NPC's.
The dragon dagger's maximum hit under normal conditions, off-task against non-undead opponents is 44 for each of the two hits. Though very unlikely, it is also possible for poison, or venom to proc with the spec, making the true maximum 88, or 94 with poison. This makes the dragon dagger's special attack the second most potentially damaging special attack in RuneScape, only behind the dark bow, which is capable of a 46 46, then 6 with poison for a max of 98.

Trivia
- The stranger that may be encountered during Desert Treasure uses a poisoned dragon dagger, and is capable of using the special attack rapidly. Saradomin wizards and melee-using Ancient Wizards also use a poisoned dragon dagger.
