Dragon javelin heads are items that are obtained from demonic gorillas, steel dragons, black dragons, lava dragons, mithril dragons, red dragons, brutal black dragons and the King Black Dragon. In order to obtain them as a drop, the player must complete Monkey Madness II.
They can be fletched into dragon javelins at level 92 Fletching when used with javelin shafts, which are made by using regular logs with a knife, granting 225 experience per 15 javelins made.
Especially for ironmen, a common use for dragon javelin heads is alchemizing them, as ballistae are not very commonly used. The javelin heads have a higher alch price than the completed javelins.
