The Ecumenical key is an item dropped by monsters in the Wilderness God Wars Dungeon east of the Forgotten Cemetery. When used it is able to instantly access the boss rooms of General Graardor, Kree'arra, Commander Zilyana, and K'ril Tsutsaroth, but once the key has been used it will disappear from the player's inventory.
Players can only own 3 keys at any given time; attempting to pick up additional keys will cause it to disappear. In addition, Aviansies will not drop the key.
An ecumenical key's drop rate is 1/50. As the player owns more keys it becomes more uncommon (when a player owns one key the drop rate is 1/60, and when a player owns two keys the drop rate is 1/70).
Since this area is in the wilderness players are advised to only bring 3-4 valuable items and hop to a low population world that is unpopular for pkers. An amulet of glory with charges is also recommended because it can be used to teleport anywhere from lvl 30 wilderness and below.
Trivia
- The key has the same purpose as RuneScape 3's Soulstones, although the soulstone requires kill count to work.
