Start point	Seers' Village, the house south-west of the bank.
Official difficulty	Novice
Description	Can you make an elemental shield?
Length	Short
Requirements	20 Mining, 20 Smithing, 20 Crafting, and the ability to kill a level 35 earth elemental.
Items required	Knife, any pickaxe, needle, thread, soft leather, a hammer, and 4 Coal.
Enemies to defeat	None

Walkthrough

• Get to Seers' Village any way you can, then go to the house southwest of the bank and search the bookcases on the east wall. You should receive a Battered book- Keep this all the way through the quest, you will need it at the end.
• Use a knife or edged weapon on the battered book to get a key.
• Go north to the building with an anvil, and use the key on the odd-looking wall on the north-wall, and go down the stairs you find there.
• Go to the northern room first, and turn the right valve and then the left valve and then pull the lever to make the water wheel turn there.
• Go to the eastern room and fix the bellows using the needle, thread and leather. Then operate them by pulling the lever beside them.
• Search all the crates and boxes in all the rooms to find a stone bowl. Have patience - there's a lot of crates to search, but you'll find it eventually.
• Go the northwest passage, attempt to mine a rock and you will be attacked. Kill the earth elemental and it will drop an elemental ore.

Elemental Bar

• Go back to the south room and use the bowl with the lava trough, and then use the lava-filled bowl with the furnace.
• Back to the furnace, place your elemental ore with 4 coal in the furnace to get an Elemental bar.
• Go to the centre and use the Elemental bar on the workbench to make the Elemental shield and complete the quest.

• 1 Quest Point
• 5000 Crafting experience
• 5000 Smithing experience
• Access to the Elemental Workshop
• An elemental shield, as well as the ability to make them.
