The Essence impling is an impling that can be caught in the Impetuous Impulses minigame, and are located throughout Puro-Puro and Gielinor. It requires at least 42 Hunter to catch.
Despite its low Hunter level requirement, it can still be a very worthwhile impling to catch due to the large amount of valuable runes that it provides, such as Law runes, Blood runes, and Nature runes, as well as a variety of other useful runes.
As with catching all implings, using Bind, Snare, or Entangle will freeze the impling in place for 5, 10, and 15 seconds, respectively. However, more experienced Hunters will not need to use such spells, as they will always be able to successfully catch the impling in a single swing.
Unlike its rarer counterparts, the Essence impling will always respawn within a minute of being caught in Puro Puro, so it can prove to be useful to find their exact spawn location within the maze.
