A facemask is a Slayer item worn on the headgear armour slot, requiring level 10 Slayer to wear. The face mask can be bought from any Slayer Master for 200 coins.
It must be worn when fighting dust devils otherwise they will dramatically decrease players' stats.
During Mourning's Ends Part II, if the player has not yet acquired a Death talisman through other means, Thorgel will supply the player with one, upon delivering a list of items to him which may include a face mask.
This item is required to craft a Slayer helmet.
