A Firemaking cape is the Cape of Accomplishment for the Firemaking skill. It can be purchased for 99,000 coins with with the Firemaking hood from Ignatius Vulcan south of Seers' Village by players who have achieved skill mastery (level 99) in Firemaking. Firemaking capes are orange in colour and have a yellow trim if the character has more than one level 99 skill.
Firemaking is a very easy skill, requires little concentration and trains at a remarkably fast rate. It can cost very little to the tens of millions to level Firemaking to 99, depending on the materials used by a player, making the cape a sign of moderate wealth.
The Firemaking cape is currently one of the rarest skillcapes within the game, but this is not because it is difficult or costly to train. This is largely attributed to the fact that Firemaking is generally considered to be a useless skill to train, as it provides literally almost no benefits whatsoever and is only really ever trained to get the Firemaking cape itself, or for gaining prerequisites to start quests. It is not estimated that it will stay a very rare 99 skill for long, as more wealth in generated into the game players will have more funds to allocate to Firemaking and many will chose to train it because of how quickly and easily 99 Firemaking can be achieved.
