The "Hot Spots" module, located under the S:C widget on the recent activity page, should be removed, and here's why:
- The most editors it usually gets is 4-5, sometimes 6-7 if we're extremely lucky
- Pages that are displayed with the most edits are just ways of showing that the page has been vandalized and reverted recently, which is an undesirable thing to show to people who are just browsing.
I agree that there is a time and a place for it, but considering the sporadism at which pages on this wiki are currently edited, I don't think it's currently all that useful. --
