Forum Moderators, also known as FMods, are users who help manage the RuneScape Forums and help with maintaining a friendly atmosphere on the forums. They act as the rule enforcement and provide community support to the players. All forum moderators were originally regular users that have been promoted by community administrators. They have a green crown next to their username and green border on their forum posts, but there is no crown present in-game.

Forum moderators have a variety of powers that regular users do not have:
- Banning users
- Locking and hiding threads
- Hide posts
- Posting in locked threads
They also deal with reports sent into them by users on the forums, through the Forum Help sticky in the Community Home sub-forum.
