A ghostspeak amulet is an item worn in the neck slot that enables the wearer to talk to ghosts. It is given to players by Father Urnhey in order to speak to the ghost haunting the Lumbridge graveyard during The Restless Ghost quest.
An enchanted ghostspeak amulet is an item worn in the neck slot that enables the wearer to talk to ghosts. It is given to players by the old crone in order to control Necrovarus during the Ghosts Ahoy quest.
Uses[]
Quests[]
Aside from The Restless Ghost, the Ghostspeak amulet is required for the following quests: Animal Magnetism, Nature Spirit, Ghosts Ahoy, Making History, Creature of Fenkenstrain, A Fairy Tale Part I , Cabin Fever and Dragon Slayer II
Miscellaneous[]
The Ghostspeak amulet is also necessary for talking to any ghost NPC in Port Phasmatys, although players who have completed Ghosts Ahoy can pass through the entry barrier without it. Players who haven't finished the quest will need to wear the amulet when passing through (the toll is 2 ecto-tokens).
In addition, the amulet allows players to speak to the ghosts in Melzar's Maze on the second floor. The conversation is about their experience of Elvarg's destruction; they were stationed at Rimmington.
Under typical circumstances a player can only get one Ghostspeak amulet as Father Urnhey will not give an amulet to player who has one in their possession, though the Drop trick can be used to obtain more than one.
Trivia[]
- The ghosts found by the Grave of Scorpius can be spoken to without a Ghostspeak amulet.
