Gilded armour is a reward from level 3 Treasure Trails. It is essentially gold-plated rune armour, as the sets' defence bonuses are identical. Gilded armour is mostly bought to status symbol. The gilded platebody also requires the completion of the Dragon slayer quest to be worn.
