The Gilded scimitar is a reward from elite Treasure Trails. It was released on 12 June, 2014 along with the Treasure Trail Expansion update.

It has the same stats as a rune scimitar, requiring 40 attack to wield. This is also the most rare and expensive piece of gilded equipment.
