Haris chathead

Haris can be found at the far south-west corner of Feldip Hills, near the entrance to the Myths' Guild.

He supervises a small area north of the Myths' Guild containing three yew trees, four maple trees, three cage/harpoon fishing spots and an entrance to the Corsair Cove Dungeon. This is the only area in free-to-play containing maple trees.

He refuses to let anyone pass the gate to this area unless they can tell him sufficiently adventurous tales. If the player has completed the Dragon Slayer quest, he will compliment them on their story and let them access the area.

Dialogue[]

  • Haris: Welcome, Effendi!
  • Player: Hello!
  • Player: Can I go in?
    • Haris: Come now Effendi, to pass you must tell me a story, one of grand heroics!
    • If players have not completed Dragon Slayer:
      • You tell the tale of how you bested a goblin, it lacks heroics and sounds more like senseless murder.
      • Player: ...And then I pulled the goblin mail from the corpse, but it didn't fit, so I dropped it.
      • Haris: You thought that was a story of heroics?! Come back when you have something worth telling.
      • To gain entrance to the resource area, you must first complete the quest 'Dragon Slayer'.
    • If players have completed Dragon Slayer but have not spoken to Haris yet:
      • You tell the tale of how you bested the legendary dragon Elvarg in combat.
      • Player: ...And then I cut her head off, so as to make sure she was dead!
      • Haris: Amazing! A story well worth telling! Please Effendi, enter at your leisure.
    • If players have already obtained permission to enter area:
      • Haris: Of course Effendi! You have proved yourself worthy!
  • Player: Who are you?
    • Haris: Me? I am Haris! Owner of the area north of here, it is has great resources, I assure you.
    • Player: You own the land? Who did you buy it from?
    • Haris: Buy? Oh no no no. Do you see this sword, Effendi?
    • Player: I do.
    • Haris: Well then, that is why it is mine! Hahaha.
    • Player: Oh, so do I pay a toll? 10 coins should do, right?
    • Haris: Not quite, while gold can get you to many places, I seek stories of heroics, for my land is only for the worthy.
    • Player: Is the story behind your sword one of heroics?
    • Haris: I promise you, the monkey I took it from was big! Hahaha!
  • Player: Bye!
    • Haris: Farewell, Effendi!

Trivia[]

  • He appears to be wielding a dragon scimitar and a trimmed dragon defender.
  • If players show Haris a dragon scimitar, he will exclaim You also bested a monkey? Good job, Effendi! Hahaha!
  • His name means "Guardsman" in Arabic.
