The Ice Demon is one of the bosses encountered in The Chambers of Xeric.
Strategy
Kindling must be chopped from the trees just outside the boss room, and then lit in all braziers at once. More kindling will need to be added to the braziers over time. This will eventually thaw the ice demon, at which point it can be attacked.
Once the ice demon is thawed, players should use Protect from Magic against the demon as it uses Ice Burst. The blowpipe is an effective weapon against the ice demon, especially with dragon darts. Other forms of Ranged attacks are also effective.
