Iron boots are members only armour pieces in RuneScape that are worn in the footwear slot of the player's inventory. There are no requirements for wearing these boots. Both Cave slimes (Poisonous; requires level 17 Slayer) and Cockatrices (requires Mirror shields to fight; required level 25 slayer) drop the boots. Players can also trading with other players to get the boots. Demand for the boots has also increased since an update to Treasure Trails added a clue that requires the boots.

Iron boots are worth much more than other low level metal boots, even more than adamant boots, because they are used by pures who have level 1 Defence.

As with all metal boots, this piece of armour cannot be made using the Smithing skill.
