The iron javelin is a type of member's only Ranged ammunition used by the light and heavy ballistas. They are the second weakest type of javelin.
They can be fletched by attaching iron javelin heads to javelin shafts at level 17 Fletching, granting 30 experience per 15 javelins made. They can also be obtained by buying them from the Ranging Guild, the Void Knight Archery Store or from Oobapohk's Javelin Store after Monkey Madness II.
Trivia[]
- Before the release of Monkey Madness II, iron javelins were equippable in the Weapon slot, providing a Ranged Attack of +8 and a Ranged Strength of +10.
- On 31 October 2016, the iron javelin's Ranged Strength bonus was changed from +50 to +42.[1]
