The iron pickaxe is a pickaxe stronger than the bronze pickaxe. It can be used in combat or to mine rocks. As with all pickaxes, players cannot smith an iron pickaxe. Players can purchase this pickaxe from Nurmof's Pickaxe Shop in the Dwarven Mine. Player's can also find it north of Rellekka at the rockcrabs on the floor. Three iron pickaxes can be found in the Digsite dungeon, next to Doug Deeping, along with three Buckets.
