The iron scimitar is a melee weapon that can be used in combat. It is stronger than the bronze scimitar. An iron scimitar is one of the items required, along with a cowl and a blue wizard robe, for one of the emote clues when solving an easy clue scroll.
Players can make an iron scimitar with the smithing skill at level 20 using 2 iron bars, giving the player 50 smithing experience. Players can purchase this scimitar from Zeke's Superior Scimitars in Al-Kharid. It is also dropped by certain monsters.
