Jungle trees give out normal logs when chopped down. They are only found in the Feldip Hunter area, the Kharazi Jungle and on Ape Atoll. Their only real use is for use for pitfall trapping larupias. A mixture of these and jungle bush must be chopped down in order to enter the Kharazi Jungle as part of the Legends quest. This tree is also the only tree which occasionally gives multiple normal logs.
