The Kodai wand is the strongest of the wands, requiring 75 Magic to wield. It is able to autocast Ancient Magicks, while providing an infinite amount of water runes. In addition, the wand has a 15% chance of negating rune costs when casting a spell.
The wand is created by using a kodai insignia, obtained as a reward at the end of the Chambers of Xeric, on a master wand.
Trivia
- Upon release, the Kodai wand was received as a complete drop. Jagex stated that this was unintentional, as the wand was supposed to be created with a kodai insignia and a master wand. The next week, the Kodai wand was replaced with the Kodai insignia drop and all wands that were obtained prior to the update were kept as normal.
- The kodai wand appears similar in design to the Elder Wand from the Harry Potter series. This is also reinforced by the fact that the Kodai wand was named the elder wand in its beta form.
