Large storage units can be built in resource rooms within the Chambers of Xeric. It allows players to store 1,000 items that are found only within the Chambers, and 90 of the player's personal items.
It can be either built by upgrading an existing Medium storage unit or from scratch; the former requiring 2 planks, and the latter 6.
NOTE: Players who leave the Chambers with their personal items still stored in the storage units can retreive them from the private storage unit next to the bank chest on the Mountain. The private storage unit must be emptied before players re-enter the Chambers of Xeric.

- Upon release, large storage units required fifteen mallignum root planks to build. This was changed to six in an update on 8 February 2018.
