Lit candle

A lit candle is the lowest level lightsource. When a tinderbox is used on a candle it will become a lit candle. Lit candles can be extinguished by clicking on them or by falling into swamp water inside the Lumbridge Caves.

Candles can be bought from the Candle Shop in Catherby for three to four gold pieces each. A lit candle will also spawn in the Ardougne Monastery, in the Watchtower north of Yanille, and on the 1^st2^nd floor^[?] of the sword shop in Varrock. You can also buy a lit candle from the candle seller outside of the Lumbridge Swamp Caves entrance for 1000 gold. It can also be stolen from the church on Entrana.
