The magic comp bow is a composite bow that requires level 50 Ranged to equip. It has two higher range bonus than the magic longbow, and the same special attack, which will always hit the target for at least 1 damage. It attacks at a slower speed than the magic shortbow. Magic comp bows can be obtained as a reward for completing a level 3 treasure trail.
Intriguingly, a composite bow has a range of 10 squares at both rapid and long range styles, similarly to the crystal bow. The shortbow, however, has a range of 7 and 9 square ranges. When range distance is needed, a magic comp bow could suffice as a cheaper option than the crystal bow, albeit with less accuracy and damage.
