Miscellania and Etceteria Dungeon mine is a small mining site found near the entrance to Miscellania & Etceteria Dungeon, which is accessed via the dungeon () entrances on either island. The mine contains 4 coal rocks and, unlike most resources found on Miscellania and Etceteria, the ore can be kept for personal use by players rather than going towards the islands' coffers. To access it, players must have reached a certain point in the Royal Trouble quest.
The mine is used primarily during Royal Trouble, during which players must repair an AMCE lift found at the mining site. Amongst the items needed to get the lift working is coal, which can be obtained most conveniently at the mine. Various crates and supplies can be found within the mine, most of which are directly involved with the quest. A bronze pickaxe can be found outside the mine's southern entrance, near the dwarves Thorodin and Ferd, and used at any time. Other supplies can also be purchased or sold in the residential area south of the mines.
To travel through the entirety of the dungeon, players must pass through the mining site. However, because the mine is so far from a bank and possesses relatively few sources of ore, it is usually not used by players outside of Royal Trouble as Motherlode Mine, Coal Trucks, and Mining Guild would make far better choices.
