Mith grapple detail

The mith grapple is an item that is used for agility shortcuts. It can be shot by any crossbow and is wielded in the ammunition slot. Besides needing a certain agility level for mithril grapple shortcuts, players also need a certain Ranged and Strength level to cross. You will need to equip a crossbow to attempt the shortcut. There is a chance the grapple will break after usage, meaning you are on the other side of the shortcut. So bring a second one if you have to cross a shortcut multiple times.

The grapple is first made from 1 mithril bar which requires 59 Smithing. The grapple then must be attached to a mith grapple tip, requiring 59 Fletching and finally used on a rope.

Players can receive a limitless supply of mith grapples via a crate located in Armadyl's Eyrie, due south of the grapple spot. However, the player requires a mith grapple to access the Eyrie. The "drop trick" must be utilised here, as players can only have one on their character at time; be it in their inventory or equipped. This does not include grapples found in their bank. Additionally, players with 99 fletching are able to search their fletching cape for three mith grapples and bronze crossbows three times a day.
