The mithril hasta is a one-handed melee members weapon, similar to the spear. To wield this weapon the player needs at least 20 Attack. To obtain a mithril hasta the player can either create one using the Smithing skill or trade with another player. It can be poisoned.

To create a mithril hasta the player needs to have completed training with Otto Godblessed, have at least 55 Smithing, some maple logs, a mithril bar and a hammer in their inventory. The player then needs to use the bar on the anvil to make the mithril hasta. This will grant the player 100 Smithing experience.
