Oak logs are used to train Construction (with oak planks) and Firemaking.
The best place to chop oak trees is Draynor Village. There is an oak tree just east of the bank. Since oak trees regenerate very quickly, there is not much downtime. Depending on levels, players can chop 500-1100 oak logs (71,500 to 157,300) per hour.
An alternative are three oak trees located in the eastern portion of the Woodcutting Guild. The logs can be deposited in a bank deposit box inside of Perry's Chop-chop Shop. This can offer similar amounts of logs per hour, but requires 75% Hosidius House favour and is members only.
