Brutal green dragons may be found in the Ancient Cavern accessible after players have started Barbarian Firemaking training. They have 100% drops of dragon bones and 2 green dragonhides, thus making them worth over 5,553 coins per kill. It is recommended to bring 4-6 pieces of food (lobsters or better), 1-4 Prayer potions (depending on Prayer level), a Games necklace, and an Extended antifire. Protect from Magic should be activated, or you will need a lot more food.
Depending on setup, skills and inventory space, players can expect around six dragons' worth of loot a trip before using an Amulet of glory to teleport to Edgeville for banking, going to Edgeville Monastery to restore Prayer points, and heading back to Ancient Cavern via the Games necklace. Alternatively, if players have at least 45 Construction, they can construct an oak altar in their chapel and use House teleport tablets instead to restore Prayer before going back.
