Coconuts grow on palm trees, and they are used to make coconut milk, used in high-level Herblore, such as making Super strong weapon poison. They're also used to pay farmers to look after magic trees. Once a palm tree has grown fully, it can be harvested repeatedly, with a coconut growing back every 45 minutes for a maximum of six.
Start out at Catherby, and run south-east to the tree patch. Harvest the coconuts, and note them with the tool leprechaun. Do the same thing in Brimhaven by running to the Catherby docks, charting a ship to Brimhaven for 480 coins (240 if you've completed Cabin Fever), or with a Brimhaven tablet. Then, teleport to Al Kharid using a ring of dueling, use the gnome glider to get to the Tree Gnome Stronghold, and harvest the coconuts on that tree. Afterwards, use the spirit tree to get to the Tree Gnome Village, exit the maze by following Elkoy, and harvest that patch. Then, teleport to Lletya with the elf crystal, harvest that tree.
As this uses the same patches as papaya trees, it cannot be used at the same time as the picking papayas method. Whichever one is more profitable should be used.Due to constantly changing prices on the Grand Exchange, some information in this article may or may not be current.
