Getting to Keldagrim

Going to Keldagrim for the first time.

Although level 50 Smithing is required to smith mithril bars, level 60 is strongly recommended so that you don't have to pay an entrance fee to the Blast Furnace. It provides a great opportunity for players to reap great profits by producing a large volume of mithril bars (worth 662 each), which are coveted by high-level smiths.

Depending on your level of activity, you can produce between 2,500 and 3,000 Mithril bars in an hour. That means the profit margin falls between 307,625 and 394,125 hourly.

First make sure you are on either world 358, 386 or 387 (the official Blast Furnace worlds). After purchasing the raw materials, deposit 72,000 coins into the coffer. This will allow you to use the furnace without having to worry about operating it. It will remove 1,200 coins every minute automatically for a total of an hour. Then, start by placing mithril ore on the conveyor belt first, then emptying your coal bag of coal and depositing that right after. Do a trip of just coal after, and in that trip retrieve your bars from the bar dispenser by clicking on it (if ice gloves are equipped) or dousing it with a bucket of water and then collecting the bars. Then, do another trip of mithril ore and coal, and immediately retrieve a second inventory of bars. Repeat this process from the beginning until you either run out of ore, or the coffer is empty.
